Scene: Michigan Dunes, one thousand years after the drying of Lake Michigan

The desert sands of Lake Michigan basin are pink in the wind, the moon comes up and the sand glows red. The area has be renamed seven times, and each time a new species of human emerges. She is a revenant of those who have passed, her circuitry is part animal or else she would not survive. A forest has overtaken the southern reach, Sekhmet came and went.
